The author concluded that not only does Aloe Vera improve wound healing, but may also increase the availability of oxygen to the wound site and increase the synthesis and the strength of collagen.
Intestinal Problems
Aloe Vera taken orally maybe able to detoxify the body and ease intestinal problems.
Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D., formerly of the Linus Pauling Institute,
studied orally consumed Aloe Vera juice on gastrointestinal function. The author concluded that Aloe promoted a more favorable balance of the
gastrointestinal bacteria and reduced the yeast population. All of the subjects who had indigestion, irritable bowl syndrome, colitis and
gastritis, reported symptomatic relief after a short seven day research study.
Cholesterol
Several studies of animals and humans have suggested that orally consumed Aloe Vera may be beneficial in lowering serum cholesterol, serum triglycerides and serum phospholipids.
Recommended Dosage: Adults, take one softgel one to three times daily as a dietary supplement, preferably with meals. Can also be used on the skin by squeezing the gel form the capsule.
25mg of Aloe Vera Concentrate is equivalent to 500mg of Aloe Vera inner leaf gel.
