The Black Cohosh herb is a North American forest plant whose root was traditionally used by American Indians for a variety of medicinal purposes. In over 40 years of extensive research, Black Cohosh has been shown to have estrogen-like effects through its ability to bind estrogen receptors and lower luteinizing hormone levels. It is this action which is believed to provide optimum comfort during a women's menopausal years of life. It is also used for post-operative functional deficits following ovariectomy or hysterectomy, for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome, and for juvenile menstrual disorders.

Recommended Dosage: Adults, take 1 capsule one to two times daily as a dietary supplement, preferably with meals. For BEST results, take continuously for up to 6 months.
